Our Story

Check Collar Co was born from a personal need. When training my own boy, Natedogg, I discovered the effectiveness of slip collars and leads. However, with Nate's extensive collection of colourful harnesses and collar sets, I found the available colour options limited and uninspiring. I wanted training collars and leads that would complement his existing accessories whilst maintaining their functionality and durability.

What started as a solution for Natedogg has grown into a passion for creating beautiful, durable slip collars and leads for dogs everywhere. Each combination I make reflects the same attention to detail and quality I demanded for my own dog.

Quality & Craftsmanship

Each slip collar and lead is lovingly handmade, always using type IV 750lb 4mm paracord, the toughest welded O rings and sturdy double toggles in a wide range of colours. All ends are secured with lock stitches using waterproof wax thread, then sturdy heat shrink to seal and finally lock stitched again in black wax thread attaching our distinctive logo tag. With attention to detail like this, we ensure your dog stands out on every walk.
